- What it is: Request to update or add nominee details in your EPF account through the EPFO portal or offline process.
- Documents Required:
- Employee’s EPF Account Number – Required to identify your EPF account.
- Nominee’s Full Name and Relationship – Details of the nominee (full name and relationship to the employee).
- Nominee’s Aadhaar Number – For identification of the nominee (if applicable).
- Nominee’s Bank Account Details – Required for smooth transfer of EPF balance to the nominee (if applicable).
- Employee’s PAN Card – Identification of the employee (for verification purposes).
- Employee’s Aadhaar Card – For identity verification of the employee.
- Signature of the Employee – To authenticate the nominee addition request.
- EPF Form 2 (Nominee Declaration Form)
- What it is: The form used to declare the nominee and their details for the EPF account.
- Documents Required:
- Completed EPF Form 2 – To be filled out with the employee’s and nominee’s details.
- Employee’s Signature – For verification and consent.
